The month of February has us thinking about sweet treats here in the Andy's Market test kitchen.
Here are some ideas for delicious treats that incorporate some good for you ingredients...

We used Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Chips melted in a double boiler for dipping our food items in. 
If you don't have a double boiler, a sauce pan and heat proof bowl also work well together.  Just fill sauce pan with water, but not so full that it touches the bottom of the bowl.  When the water is at a slow boil, add chocolate to bowl and stir until melted. 

Dip food items into chocolate and place on a cookie sheet.  We love using parchment paper to line our cookie sheets as it makes clean up a snap.  

Sprinkle on toppings before chocolate has a chance to harden.  
To set the chocolate after adding your toppings, place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator.

Eat and enjoy or store in an air tight container.
