Lynette's Dinner Patties....




Lynette's Vegetarian Dinner Patties

2 cups Italian bread crumbs
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/2 of one large onion diced
2 cups low fat cottage cheese
6 eggs

Sauce:
1 cup water
1cup Ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar



Dice onion and walnuts, grate cheese, set aside.  Combine cottage cheese and eggs well.  Add walnuts, cheese, onion, and bread crumbs stir till combined.  Add olive oil to a hot skillet and form mixture into round meat balls or small patties and fry on each side till golden brown.  After cooking in the skillet place in a 9x13 baking dish.  Combine water, ketchup and brown sugar. Pour sauce over all of the cooked patties/meatballs.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until sauce thickens and patties are nice and brown.
